Here is my dilema. I currently own (I have had since last July) a 1983 Kubota B7100 manual shift, 16 hsp, 4x4 with about 2000 hours, runs great. I have and use several implements including a york rake, a scraper blade, a rear dirt scoop, rear fork (carry-all), 42" brushhog, trailor hitch, rear chains/front snowblower (haven't actually hooked that up, scraper blade did fine even in blizzard of '05). BUT, I don't have a loader. I found a dealer in Mass. (I am in RI) who has a loader to fit mine for about $2,400 installed. He also has a Yanmar 4wd, 18 hsp. 186? with about 1,000 hrs, a loader, a posthole digger, and a trailer for $7,500. I have 6 acres, mostly wooded that I want to keep clearing out (most, not all) so I need to be able to brushhog, I also have a landscaping project to do this summer which I need the bucket for to move/spread loam, move stone for a wall and some large stone for a walkway. Finally, I need to plow my drive which is about 300 ft., pretty steep too. Do I purchase the bucket for my Bota...or do I just sell the Bota (probably could get between $4,500-5000 with some of the implements, including snowblower) and buy the Yanmar? I'm not sure how easily I can get my Yanmar worked on, I have a Bota dealer just up the road. What should I do???

my personal advice...upgrade your Kubota or trade it all in for a new John Deere! (have a 4110 and couldn't be happier) ....
